The double room was newly decorated and impressively clean. Breakfast was quite good, featuring homemade marmalade, and dinner exceeded expectations. Staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. the mattress needed replacing, and getting the TV to work was a frustrating challenge due to the outdated remote controls. Plus, the lack of air conditioning made for an uncomfortable night during warm weather.

The bed was really comfy, and I slept well. The room was clean, but it felt a bit dated, like something from the 70s. There was some hair on the floor near the bin, which was a bit off-putting. it did the job for a quick stay but could use some updates to make it feel fresher and more inviting.
